The project Towards inclusive research programming for sustainable food innovations (INPROFOOD) is funded by the European Communities’ Seventh Framework Programme under grant agreement no. 289045 and aims at bringing together civil society, academia and business to tackle policy questions on food and health research.
Eighteen Partners are involved in the project, which took off on 1 November 2011 and will run for a total of three years, concluding in November 2014.
Among others, the project activities comprise
- mapping the current processes and structures for research at national level and European level;
- 39 Europan Awareness Scenario Workshops in 13 countries;
- a European Open Space conference; and
- the development of an action plan.
